A Shakespeare Impromptu

In collaboration with the independent charity Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Balbir Singh Dance Company led the creation on 2 of 17 simultaneous nationwide flash-mobs held in celebration of Shakespeare Week - the 10 year anniversary of which fell on the day of the performance. Children from Christ the King RC Primary School mesmerised audiences with a dazzling flash mob rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream, taking place at The Lowry in Manchester. BSDC also performed a rendition of Romeo and Juliet at the Shakespeare North Playhouse in Liverpool with the children of Grove Street Primary School.
