Chinese New Year at Durham’s Oriental Museum

The 9 February 2026 saw Balbir Singh Dance Company back at Durham University Oriental Museum, where we celebrated Chinese New Year. As part of our ongoing series of creative health workshops at the museum, participants watched traditional dance from Chinese dancer Hui Jing, listened to poetry from Adam Strickson, and shared words surrounding the notion of culture.
