Darlington Parade
On 11th November 2023, BSDC was honoured to perform Yakshagana, led by Devika Rao, for the Diwali Lantern Parade in Darlington. Performing alongside Devika was Arathi Suresh, a student of the School of PCI at the University of Leeds. The performance was comprised of beautiful traditional costumes, percussive South Indian music and interactions with the crowd, leading to a memorable multicultural event for everyone involved.
