ISEMPH Conference 2024

In August 2024, we engaged with the International Society for Evolution, Medicine, and Public Health (ISEMPH) during a special two-session event. The event brought together an international delegation from various fields, offering them an opportunity to explore the intersection of health, heritage, and creative expression.

As part of the visit, attendees participated in a short tour and talked about health-related heritage activities, including Our South Shields at Clover Cottage. Balbir also led a social creative walk at the nearby Botanic Gardens, inviting participants of all ages to engage in movement and reflection, showcasing the potential of art and nature in improving health outcomes.
