In 2023, the award-winning performer, composer, inventor, and patent-holder of NAVTAR®, Vishnu Ramprasad, collaborated with BSDC when touring in the UK. Balbir Singh's fusion of Indian classical and Western dance resonated with Vishnu, expanding his creative horizons.

Vishnu, the innovative musician, brought his unique 9-string instrument that highlights micro-nuances of Carnatic melody and Western harmony into life by performing in some of BSDC's work like Dewey.
The project brought various communities back into libraries where they could immerse themselves in Indian storytelling through a variety of art forms. This collaboration not only enriched Vishnu's practice but also broadened his UK audience base, particularly in the vibrant Leeds region.
