Visiting Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Balbir Singh Dance Company took eight students from the University of Leeds MA Culture, Creativity and Entrepreneurship course to Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The group included seven students from China and one from Greece, as well as company artists Kali Chandrasegaram and Manuela Benini.

The visit offered students the opportunity to experience a new setting, become familiar with Indian arts, and explore ways of capturing the moment through creative documentation. As part of the Resilient Dancer Programme, the dancers were able to create space for cultural exchange and artistic inspiration, responding to the sculptures and landscape as part of their ongoing creative development.
